6263. Kiewicz, J. Juue 4, 1914, [Convention date]. Sewing - machines with work-benders. The workbender arm 4 is pivoted at 13 in a plate 9 removably attached to the machine frame. The bearing does not project above the general level of the workplate. The presser-arm 8 is similarly pivoted at 21 on the plate 9. The bender is actuated by a cam 5. Stopping - gear. - The presser is raised when the machine is stopped, by means of a finger 26 and an arm 25 associated with the usual stop-cam 24.
