[Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group VII] Universal joints.-The presser-bar 8 of an overedge sewing-machine is pivotally mounted, so that it can be moved in a vertical plane and also swing sideways, by means of a U-shaped. yoke 10 which is mounted on a pin 11 in the machine frame and has a lateral lug 13 with a pivot pin 14 carrying the forked end of the presser-bar 8.
