[Class 135] A dispensing device for liquid pumps, beer engines, &c. for delivering different kinds of liquids from one or two outlets comprises a standard 1 provided at its upper end with a housing for a conical plug valve member 16 actuated by a handle 21, and enclosing pipes 12, 13 through which different liquids are supplied under pressure to the valve. The plug 16 has chambers 27, 28, 29 interconnected by ports 25, 26, each chamber also having three radial ports e, f, g. A spring-loaded lift-valve member 24, actuated by movement of the handle 21 about a pivot 20 controls communication between the pipes 12, 13 and the chamber 27, which connects, according to the position of the plug 16, with one or both of the outlets 8, 9. When the handle is rotated about 45 degrees to move the plug in a clockwise direction, as seen in Fig. 4, the pipe 12 is put into communication with the outlet 8 and, if the handle is then moved about the pivot 20, the valve member 24 places the pipe 13 in communication with the outlet 8. If, however, the handle is actuated to move the plug in the other direction both outlets 8, 9 are placed in communication with either of the pipes 12, 13.
