A plug cock, e.g. for reversing the flow of liquid between two tanks, comprises a casing 9 having ports 10, 11 connected to the tanks and a plug, the ends 20, 21 of which are connected to a circulating pump and which is divided by a partition 17 into compartments 15, 16 having ports 18, 19 coacting with the ports 10, 11. The casing may be rotated on the plug by a handle 22 or, alternatively, the plug may be rotated in the casing. Specification 650,726 is referred to.
