Abstract

The mixing valve unit has a mixing pipe, two inlet unions, two valves, and an outlet for the mixed water. The mixing pipe (1) is a hollow body of externally cylindrical shape without protrusions, and having countersunk seats (7) to accommodate the inlet unions (9, 10). Opposite these further countersunk seats (8) are provided to accommodate the valves (16). It also has one or more outlets (3) and seats for a seal (4,5) shutting off the outlet. The outlet can have a sleeve portion (19) sliding over the mixing pipe so as to work with one or more of the seals. A port in the sleeve (20) is brought into line with the outlet (3) from the mixing pipe.
