Abstract

329,105. Jarvis, H. E. Dec. 31, 1929. Mixing-valves. - A hot and cold water mixing-valve fitting such as is used by hairdressers and of which Fig. 1 is a plan view, comprises a mixing chamber 2, two inlet valves (hot and cold) 3 and 4, and a plug valve 6 between these inlet valves having its' axis vertical and at right-angles to the axes of these said hot and cold water valves, said plug valve 6 being provided with a short overhanging tubular handle 7 terminating in a discharge nozzle 9 and a fixed alternative discharge nozzle 12 parallel to the axes of the inlet valves.
