Abstract

605,567. Key-hole slot fastenings. WARREN McARTHUR CORPORATION. June 26, 1945, No. 16258. Convention date, Sept. 15, 1944. [Class 44] A device adapted to be removably attached to a member having a key-hole slot therein comprises a base 15, a post 17 secured thereto and having a locking portion 20 and a recess 21 intermediate the locking portion and the base, the recess being adapted to register with the narrow end of the slot, and a member 26 sliding through the base and projecting into the slot to lock the base in position. The member 26 may be housed in a casing 23 and urged outwardly by a spring, a knob 29 being provided to form a grip for withdrawing it. The key-hole slot is formed in a plate 10 adapted to be secured to the floor, wall, or roof of a vehicle or other structure, and the device is provided with a ring 19 for the attachment of a rope &c. for securing cargo.
