[Class 44] A door or like fastening has a hollow body part a containing a manually-operable bolt e loaded by a spring f and formed with a pair of knotches q and r. A pawl n, loaded by a spring o and operable by a key s, is adapted for alternative co-operation with the said notches, the notch q being made sufficiently long to allow the bolt to slide in and out of engagement with a keeper j, and the notch r being adapted for locking the bolt when fully shot.
