Abstract

605,377. Radio-receiving apparatus. COSSOR, Ltd., A. C., and WYNN, A. H. A. Dec. 20, 1945, No. 34592. [Class 40 (v)] In a radio receiver with wave-band switching, each tuned circuit comprises a variable condenser 5, a single pre-set inductance 3, a fixed shunt condenser 7 for the lowest frequency band, and pre-set trimmer condensers 9 for the higher frequency bands. The wave-bands are selected by means of push-button switches 1, 2 having L-shaped moving contacts 13, 14 respectively, each of which simultaneously connects corresponding sets of fixed contacts 3<1>, 4<1>, 61 when in the operated position.
