Abstract

603,602. Hinges. ANDERSEN, A. L. Oct. 25, 1945, No. 28190. Convention date, March 16, 1942. [Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group X] A window frame 2 swingable, for cleaning, ventilation, &c. through 180 degrees on a horizontal axis about pivots in a stationary frame 1, is pivoted to the stationary frame by links 5 and a second link 7 is pivoted to the swingable frame adjacent the pivot 6 of the link 5. The other end of the link 7 is provided with an arm 8 which is guided in a stationary vertical slot 9. When the window is closed it fits within the frame 1 and the links 5, 7 are housed therein as shown in chain lines.
