Stays.-The opening movement of a hinged door 6 is limited by jointed foldable links 1, 2 the connecting pivot 7 of which engages the slot, 10 of a link 9 pivotally mounted at or about the axis of the door hinge, the slot 10 being of such a length as will prevent the members 1, 2 getting into alignment. The links 1, 2 are connected to angle-plates 3, 4 in Fig. 1. In Fig. 3 they are connected with the hinge plates 11, 12.
