Abstract
603,406. Letter-boxes. WHEELER, F. W. L. Oct. 20, 1945, No. 27614. [Class 18] [Also in Group XXV] A hinged letter-box flap 2 is attached to an aperture support 1 by two pairs of apertured lugs connected by a pin 4, the lugs 6 of the one pair being carried by a bar 7 secured to the support above the aperture, and the lugs 3 of the other pair being carried by a plate 5 secured to the flap, the lugs 3 being offset to project above the top edge of the flap and to lie between the lugs 6. A torsion spring 8 maintains the flap in the closed position.
