Abstract

497,667. Stays for hinged articles. TIMINGS, L. S. A. June 22, 1937, No. 17403. [Class 65 (i)] In a stay for mirrors, one attachment plate 11 is of angle form having a vertical portion 16 secured to a fixture and the other portion pivoted to the stay, while the other plate 10 is secured horizontally to the lower edge of the mirror. The stay comprises three links 5, 6, 7 connected by one or more frictionally loaded joints. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the angle plate 24, 25 is adapted to be detachably connected to a fixed socket 22 on the mirror. Specification 386,719 is referred to.
