[Class 52 (iii).] A round or oval table top is enlarged in all directions by means of segment-shaped parts c<1> .. c<6> pivotally connected, and housed when not in use in folded condition under the normal table, the segments being in two groups each carried by a supporting arm f pivoted to the table frame h. The normal table top is made in two parts a, b, shown as hinged together, to allow of access to the enlarging segments. By the use of a webbing or like connection i the opening of the table top may automatically pull the segments into operative position for extension.
