A foldable table has a divided top 1, 2, the parts of which are hinged to leg frames 13, 14 diverging from the centre and carrying hinged struts 24, 25, there being hinged between the leg frames a shelf structure 32 folding about a central hinge to lie, with the legs and struts, between the top parts when the structure is collapsed. The panel 5 on one side of the top overlaps the joint between the top parts.
