Abstract

516,333. Folding tables; screens. VAUGHAN, E. July 23, 1938, No. 21892. [Classes 52 (iii) and 52 (iv)] A folding table or the like, convertible into a fire screen comprises two pairs of hinged legs 5, 6, connected to the underside of the table top by means of knuckle-jointed links 9, one pair of legs being provided with stand feet 5a for supporting the table when folded, for use as a fire screen, as shown in Fig. 3. The supporting frame 7 of the table top has undercut flanges on three sides to receive the table top 8 which may be slid out by means of a finger grip 10, and if desired, may be reversed.
