Abstract

270,985. Educational Supply Association, Ltd., and Woolard, H. Dec. 13, 1926. Folding tables combined with shelves comprise a top 2 with a hinged pair of legs 1 at each end and a hinged shelf 5 parallel with the top staying them apart when in use, and folding with them under the top. The opened legs 1 bear against stops 3 on brackets 4 and carry at one end a cross bar 7 to which is hinged the shelf 5 retained at the other end by a stop 8 abutting against a cross bar 9 between the legs and by turn-buttons 10 on a bar 11 between the legs engaging the top of the shelf. The table is held folded by a turn button 12 on the underside of the shelf engaging a slit 13 in the underside of the cross bar 7. The turnbutton 10 may be replaced by a hinged link between the shelf and table top.
