Abstract

227,145. Jones, E. May 12, 1924. Folding and collapsable tables with folding legs are provided with a folding stay for each pivoted leg member, each stay comprising a pair of folding links of which the lower link 13 is extended beyond its upper pivot to bear directly against the underside of the table top 11, the members 13, 14 then being in alignment. A catch 15 is provided for holding the parts of the stay member in the operative position. The legs on each side of the table are connected together by the bars 8 and the legs are spaced apart so that one pair of legs may be folded within the other. Attached to each leg is a strip 9 pivotally connected to a rail 12.
