Abstract

241,612. Pohlmann, H. W. L. July 18, 1924. Folding tables.-The legs of tables &c. are hinged to fold along the edges of and in the plane of the table top. The legs are hinged one on each side or two on opposite sides of the article and are fastened in the open or closed position. A member 3 on each leg 2 is hinged to one end of a member 4 secured to the edge of the table top 1, while a strut 5 pivoted to the other end of the member 4 has a pin 8 engaging a slot 9 in the leg. When the leg is folded the members 3, 4 lie one on another and a spring pin on the leg takes into a recess on the table. The pin 8 slides into a projection at the lower end of the slot to hold the leg in open position.
