Abstract

311,040. Antin, A. March 8, 1928. Folding tables.-A folding table of the the kind with leg frames 7, Fig. 2, hinged at the ends of the table top is fitted on its under side with flat springs 1 in which are two holes 2, 3 engaging with serews &c. 4, 5 in the crossbar 6 when the table legs are in the vertical or the folded position respectively. The spring terminates in a right-angle finger piece 10, which is pressed down to release the spring from the screws &c. 4, 5. It enters a handle 13 for carrying the table, and is adjacent to a handle 14 by means of which the parts 6, 7 may be moved. The leg frames may be stayed by struts, the ends of which slide either on the legs 7 or on the underside of the table top.
