219,606. Addison & Co., Ltd., H., and Evans, J. Feb. 14, 1924. Folding tables and desks.-A shelf is carried between folding legs pivoted at each end of the table. The shelf h is hinged to a distance-piece e between folding legs d and rests at its other end in a recess in the corresponding distancepiece. Stays d<1> for the legs are provided at the side of the shelf. The slope of the flap b, hinged to the top a, is adjusted by hinged supports engaging a rack. When folding, the legs may intermesh and the free end of the shelf slide over the piece e between one pair of legs. To allow the members to fold flat, the legs may be hinged to blocks f, g beneath the table.
