333,766. Addison & Co., Ltd., H., and Evans, J. Sept. 5. 1929. Benches, work; bench stops.-A work bench comprises end frames 1, 2 fitted at their lower ends with hinged extensions 3, 4 adapted to be folded inwards or to be secured bv bolts 5 in the position shown to increase the height of the bench. The top 14 is provided with adjustable bench stops 12, 13 and a trough 15, and the front with a cupboard 6, above which is a carpenter's vice 11. For use as a desk or table the vice is detached, the bench stops are depressed and a table top 16 is secured over the bench top by clamps 17 ; one side of the table top is polished and the other plain or white enamelled or covered with a metal enamelled sheet for use as a cookery table.
