A snow-plough for use with a motor vehicle comprises a " pusher " formed from two similar rectangular flanged plates 12, 13 hinged together by the adjacent flanges on two of the shorter sides and thus capable of being folded into a box (shown partly open in Fig. 6) which contains the various struts and stays. Four struts secured in pairs 15, 16 and 14, 17 to form two V's have their extremities attached to the flanges of opposite longer edges of the pusher plates near the hinge and their apices secured to or engaging with the bumper or other part of the vehicle at spaced points (members 24). Four side stays are detachably connected to the flanges of opposite longer edges of both pusher plates at points (27) remote from the hinge and each is connected detachably to one of the four struts. As shown, the side struts are in pairs (only the upper ones being visible in Fig. 2) one member 20 of each pair being short and the other member (18, 18a) being longer so that each pair can be used (full lines, Fig. 2) together to set up the pushers as shown, or the short ones can be used alone (chain-dotted lines) to form a V- shaped plough. By pivoting the combined strut 18-20 from the bolt-hole 26a, and using the set-up shown chain-dotted on the left, an inclined plough is formed. Similarly, the same effect with the plough obliquely disposed on the other hand can be obtained by using strut 20 alone on the right and the combined struts in the auxiliary hole on the left.
