Abstract

789,980. Hinges. K. A. C. Ltd. Aug. 16, 1955 [Sept. 8, 1954], No. 26049/54. Class 65(2) A hinge comprises hinge plates 1, 2 pivoted by pins 17, 18 to an interconnecting link 11, and a spring 22 tending to rock the plate 2 with respect to the link. The hinge is used to interconncet two panels 5. 6 to enable relative movement thereof 'between an edge-to-edge and a face-to-face position. The link is recessed to receive the edges of the panels in the folded back position. The hinge may be used in connection with cover panels according to Specification 713,092 [Group X]. According to the Provisional Specification the spring is adapted to close one of the panels.
