An electrical resistance alloy has the following composition: Ni 1.8-7.2 per cent, Al 1.5-5.0 per cent, Cr 12.0-16.0 per cent, Fe and inconsequential traces of other metals and materials being the remainder. A particular alloy is referred to, having the composition: Ni 4.0 per cent, Al 2.6 per cent, Cr 14.3 per cent, Fe and inconsequential traces of other metals and materials being the remainder.
