Abstract

A cobalt-chromium-nickel-base alloy has the following composition: Co 20-50 per cent, Cr 15-30 per cent, Ni 5-31 per cent, Fe 0-18 per cent (the total amount of Fe and Ni being not less than 20 per cent), Mn 0-3 per cent, C 0-0.3 per cent, Be 0.01-0.09 per cent and the usual impurities. The alloy may contain 3-7 per cent of Mo or, where the Cr content is between 20 and 26 per cent, the Mo content may be 3-10 per cent. Specifications 423,562 and 454,881 are referred to.
