Abstract
585,671. Valve amplifying circuits. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. (General Electric Co.). Dec. 23, 1943, No. 21573. [Class 40 (v)] In a circuit for producing signals of opposite phase at points a, c, the anode and cathode of a valve 12, being connected to these points and the grid to a source of signals, impedances 22, 23 are connected between the grid and the points, further impedances 20, 21 being connected between the points and the other terminal of the source to form a balanced bridge circuit of which the two points form opposite corners and the source is connected across the other corners: A variable resistance 27 allows the magnitude of the output signals to be varied. The D.C. blocking condenser 26 may be omitted, Fig. 1, (not shown).
