583,200. Air-break switches. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAGET. July 7, 1944, No. 12995. Convention date, July 17, 1943. [Class 38 (v)] An air-blast circuit-breaker is provided with a valve in the compressed air conduit which restricts the delivery of air to the breaking gap, after extinction of the arc, and maintains the lower pressure at the gap until the contacts have sufficient separation for insulation at atmospheric pressure, or until a gap has been connected in series, before entirely closing the air delivery line. Specification 564,950 is referred to.
