Abstract

578,429. Mounting terminals. CINCH MANUFACTURING CORPORATION. June 19, 1944, No. 11659. Convention date, June 18, 1943. [Class 38 (i)] A terminal connector for vacuum discharge tubes comprises a sheetmetal cup 1 having an outer peripheral wall 2 for sealing to the glass wall 3 of the tube, and a bottom wall 4 provided with a hollow axial stud 5 for engaging a socketed connection lead. The internal connection to the tube is made by a wire L soldered in the stud or connected to a threaded terminal pressed into the stud 5, Fig. 4 (not shown). The outer wall 2 may be omitted and the outer face of the inner wall sealed directly to the tube, Fig. 5 (not shown).
