Abstract

572,083. Clocks. LANDIS & GYR SOC. ANON. March 9, 1944, No. 4377. Convention date, May 17, 1943. [Class 139] The movement and driving-spring of a time switch clock are centred by means of a pot-shaped housing on a cover-plate which also supports the motor winding gear. The movement is mounted between frame members 6, 7, the latter having an opening in which is mounted a cup-shaped part 10 housing the slow-running spindle 8. The part 10 fits an aperture 4 in the pot-shaped housing 3 to which the frame is screwed, packing 11 surrounding the spindle 8. The housing 3 has a bracket extension 5 fitting an opening 2 in the cover-plate 1 and forming a bearing for the main spindle 13, a gear 19 on which engages a gear 21 on the spindle 8 through a gap 20 in the member 10. One of the driven spindles 29 passes through the housing 3, packing 31 being provided.
