Abstract

1,184,429. Clocks and watches. CITIZEN TOKEI K.K. May 15, 1967 [May 13, 1966], No.22359/67. Heading G3T. A regulator mechanism for a timepiece comprises a balance and a shock absorbing mechanism in a casing (14, Fig.2, not shown) mounted in an opening 12 in a balance bridge 11 and supporting the upper end of the balance shaft, and around the casing (14) are rotatably mounted a regulator ring 22 having an actuating arm 23 from which depends a regulator pin 24 for adjusting the effective length of the balance spring 27, and a ring 16 forming part of a holder 19 for a stud 18 to which the outer end of the spring 27 is secured, the pin 24 being positioned at least partially within a peripheral interruption 17 or recess (28, Fig. 3, not shown) in the stud holder 19.
