Abstract

944,975. Clocks and watches. PARECHOC S.A. Nov. 12, 1962 [Nov. 29, 1961; March 17, 1962], No. 42593/62. Heading G3T. [Also in Division F2] In a shock-absorbing bearing for a movable watch or clock element, a spring 11 acts on a bearing-body to keep it in a centred position. The bearing-body, which comprises an end-piece jewel 2 and a drilled-jewel 3 surrounded by an in-setting 4, is housed in a recess 5 of the support 1. The support 1 also has recesses 12,16 which extend to grooves 13, 17 in order to receive inwardlydirected extensions 11b, 11e of the spring 11. The bearing-body is retained in the support 1 by two portions 11c and one portion 11d of the spring 11 which urge against the jewel 2. In a modification, the extensions 11b, 11e of the spring are outwardly directed into grooves of the support 1.
