Abstract

1306247 Watches OMEGA LOUIS BRANDT & FRERE SA 17 Nov 1970 [5 Dec 1969] 54561/70 Heading G3T In a watch having a divided winding/setting stem, co-operating means are provided on the two stem portions to prevent rotation of the watch movement in the case after the parts have been assembled. Fig. 1 shows an outer stem portion 1 which is secured at its one end to a winding crown, (not shown), and carries at its inner end a head 3 which is axially insertable between resilient jaws 4 of an inner stem portion 2 which is secured to the watch movement. The portion 1 has an enlargement 7 with a conical surface on its inner side to co-operate with a corresponding recess 8 in the portion 2, thus preventing rotation of the movement since the portion 1 is supported by the case. The enlargement of the stem portion 1 may be a cylindrical enlargement (10) Fig. 2 (not shown) co-operating with a corresponding recess (12). Alternatively a transverse pin (13) Fig. 3 (not shown) held in the portion 1 may engage a slot (14) in the ends of the jaws 4.
