Abstract

1,228,413. Wrist watch attachments. OMEGA LOUIS BRANDT & FRERE S.A. 2 April, 1968 [1 May, 1967], No. 15696/68. Heading A3H. [Also in Divisions E1 and E2] In a combination of wrist watch and wristband 5, the watch has a case with a circular projection 4 and a pair of non- circular projections 8 extending rearwardly therefrom, the said non-circular projections 8 being spaced apart from the circular projection and diametrically opposed so to define recesses with respect to the circular projection, the band 5 being cut so as to fit round the said circular projection and into said recesses and prevent rotation of the watch with respect to the band, and a fixing member 7 applied to said circular projection to prevent removal of the band from the watch. As shown the fixing member is a ring which is either frictionally fitted, snap-fitted, or screwed on the projection of the watch-case, and a protecting washer can be inserted between the ring and the wrist band. In a modification the fixing member consists of a false back having a projection which is a force fit in a recess in the projection 4.
