Class 139 In a magnetic escapement, Fig. 1, the spring 13 which carries the magnet 10 is fixed to a support 17 mounted on a pin 17a held on the frame plate 19 by a friction washer (not shown). The support 17 is thus angularly adjustable to vary the position of the magnet poles with respect to the teeth of the escape wheel 16. Specifications 698,406 and 742,302 are referred to.
