740,124. Watches. MONTRES ROLEX SOC. ANON. April 20, 1954 [April 18, 1953], No. 11381/54. Class 139 The crown 4 screws on to the pendant 2 screwed to the case 1. A sleeve 5 screwed to the crown 4 surrounds the tube 3 fixed to the winding stem (not shown). The pendant 2 has a groove 9 containing a packing 8 which acts radially on the sleeve 5 in all positions of the crown 4. A flange 4a on the crown abuts the packing 8 when the crown is screwed to the pendant 2. If the flange 4a is omitted the packing is provided with an extension to abut the bottom of the cavity in the crown.
