[Class 12 (i)] A cylindrical bearing comprises inner and outer race rings 12, 16 and an intermediate porous bearing ring 18 located axially by the race rings. Each race ring is in two parts bolted together, the outer ring forming a lubricant reservoir 17. The ring 18 has holes through it or is made of porous metal.
