Abstract

1,118,778. Bearings. DURKOPPWERKE G.m.b.H. 13 June, 1966 [8 Nov., 1965], No. 26149/66. Heading F2A. A combined axial and radial bearing comprises rollers positioned between the arms of L-sectioned ring 5 and ring 1, the bore of ring 1 having a groove 12 positioned between the axial and radial bearing and containing a circlip 11. Thus the rings 5, 1 are undetachable from each other. To assemble the bearing, rollers 4 are positioned in recessed raceway 6<SP>1</SP> and encircled by circlip 11, the race 1 then being moved axially into position and pushing the circlip from the rollers. Pins (not shown) limit movement of the clip which springs into groove 12. A lubricant groove 9 communicates with a channel 10.
