756,298. Connecting-rod bearings. PITNER, A., and SOC. ANON DES ROULEMENTS A AIGUILLES. Nov. 2, 1954 [Nov. 4, 1953], No. 31594/54. Class 12 (1). A connecting-rod bearing comprises rollers 4 retained within the rod bore 3 by annular end plates 7 having lips 10 which overhang the reduced ends 5 of the rollers 4. The plates 7 are spot welded at 8 to the sides of the rod and contact projections are preferably provided on the inner faces of the plates 7. Lubricant passages 12 are formed in the plates 7.
