Needle rollers 13 are retained in a cap member 11 by an annular sheet metal member 21 having a flanged portion 15 press-fitted in the open end of the cap 11 and an external abutment 19 to limit its inward movement. The ends of the rollers are bevelled, and adjacent portions of the member 21 and cap 11 are correspondingly shaped.
