Abstract
569,590. Washbasins &c. JENKS, Ltd., E. P., and COOLEY, M. G. D. March 22, 1943, No. 4692. [Class 26] In a waste fitting or outlet bush-and-stopper plug for washbasins, baths and the like, a stem 6 on the plug 4 slides through a hole in the grid 2. When the plug is raised from its seating 5, the steal is arranged in an inclined position and supported in such position on the waste fitting. The lower end 7 of the stem may be reduced in diameter to provide a shoulder 9 which, in the raised, inclined position of the stem, rests either on the grid 2 or on the seat 5 and supports the plug in the open position. A nut 8 on the lower end of the stem limits the raising of the latter.
