[Class 26] [Also in Group XXIX] A combined bib. tap and bubbler or drinking fountain comprises a screw down valve 10 with an externally threaded discharge union 12 having a ported valve face 15 engaged by a complementary valve face 16 on the bib portion 14 of the tap, the latter being rotatably mounted on the union 12 by a union nut 13 so that the bib can be turned upwardly as shown in Fig. 2 when the device is to be used as a bubbler. The conical face 16 has a single port 21 which may register with a large port 18 or with a small bubbler port 19 adjustable by a grub screw 20. The bib portion has an internal baffle 9 and a guard frame 17 is screwed thereto. The union nut 13 may be secured by a set screw. In a modification the discharge union is removable from the screw down valve. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, the combined bib tap and bubbler may be used for filling baths, water basins, or the like. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
