482,598. Waste-fittings for baths &c. BOOTH & CO., Ltd., S., and LEE, H. Oct. 8, 1936, No. 27299. [Class 33] In a waste-fitting for a bath &c., the wastepipe 3 is combined with an annular chamber 4 having an opening 4a connected with the outlet 6 and with a tubular member 8, extending through the chamber into a further chamber 10 constituted by a tubular piece of glass, celluloid or other durable transparent material. The chamber 4 is a metallic annular member formed with channels 4c, 4e to receive respectively, with the interposition of gasket rings, the pipes 3 and 10, while the device is closed by a disc 11, the whole being held in position by a wire or rod 13 fitted with a nut 15 secured to the usual grating 14.
