Abstract

1,009,210. Baths and wash basins. H. R. HOLTMAN. Aug. 23, 1962 [Aug. 24, 1961], No. 32434/62. Heading A4N. A mixer chamber 26 is incorporated in, or attached to, the end wall of a bath and has a single discharge hole 24. Waste outlet 20 and overflow 22 are at the opposite end of the bath which has a groove 30 to accommodate the plug chain. A hand shower may be connected to inlet 24 by means of a tubular rubber spigot (Fig. 6, not shown). Two valve operating knobs, for hot and cold water, may be arranged in a concealed mounting between a bath and wash basin and a further knob in the mounting may direct the supply either to the bath or to the basin (Figs. 8 and 9, not shown).
