Fluid-actuated valves.-Baths and lavatory and closet basins are made with a projecting shelf A<1> having an aperture A<2> for the reception of a water supply valve, the body a of which is kept in position by the clamping action of flanges E, E<1>, the latter of which is adjustable. The push-button B or other means of operating the valve is located in the upper part of the aperture A<2> and the supply pipe A<3> is located as shown. Water passes to the basin by way of apertures D<2> in the valve body and a passage D<3>. A curtainlike wing G is formed on the underside of the shelf A<1>. When the button B is pushed down, the relief valve C is first opened, the piston B<4> being then free to descend. The main valve B<1> then opens.
