Abstract
307,590. Gill, H. J. Feb. 6, 1928. Siphon - discharge water - waste preventers.-The short leg 26 of the siphon contracts towards the top, and its lower end is integral with or attached to the cover of a cup 7; the bottom of the cup is spaced from the bottom of the cistern. and has an opening 11 adapted to he closed by a valve 20 on a piston 13 provided with a flap valve 17 and connected to an actuating lever. The cup may have a detachable bottom, its cover may be screwed on, and the lever may have an adjustable weight. Specification 283,665 is referred to.
