559,351. Wood-working cutters. MAXIM, E. R. Dec. 29, 1942, No. 18458. [Class 145 (i)] Relates to a cutter for woodworking and like machines, of the kind in which the blade is held by a screw-operated wedge in a slot extending inwardly from the edge of the cutter head. According to the present invention, the blade d is held in its slot c by a key e forced into contact with the blade by means of a wedge f that is moved laterally by a screw h inserted at one side of the head. The screw may engage a threaded section of the wedge, and the key may be retained in place by a transverse pin.
