Abstract
559,214. Optical projection systems. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. July 30, 1942, No. 10640. Convention date, July 31, 1941. [Class 97 (i)] [Also in Group XL] The luminescent screen is mounted on a metal portion 13<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 1, of the envelope and light from the same side of the screen as is struck by the beam passes out through the glass envelope, portion 12'. The light is then reflected from a concave mirror 10 through a plate 11 correcting for spherical aberration, the mirror 10, window 12' and the screen having a common centre at plate 11. The screen may be air- or water-cooled. Specifications 513,739, [Group XL], and 537,738 are referred to.
