[Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Groups XII and XXVII] A gas-producer plant adapted for use on motor vehicles includes two groups of cooler units B traversed by the gases from the producer A in parallel. Each group comprises two cooler units 10 traversed by the gases in series and is in connection with separate filters C from which the gases pass through a mixing value D to the engine. Each filter comprises an inner perforated cylinder 21 between which and an outer casing 13 is disposed a filtering element consisting of wire gauze folded in a zig-zag manner and covered with fabric. A distributer 23 is disposed adjacent the gas inlet and causes disposition of impurities, the clean gas passing to an outlet 18.
