[Class 108 (i)] A push chair wilh collapsible components comprises a handle component movable between a collapsed position and a position of use, other collapsible components being free to be moved independently of one another and also independently of the handle, when in its position of use, between their collapsed position and their position of use but being automatically moved or prepared for movement to the collapsed position by the movement of the handle to its collapsed position. The handle comprises sections 4 and 6 detachably connected so that they can be disconnected and the lower part 4 turned down under the seat 1 about a pivot 4<SP>1</SP>, the other part 6, which in the example shown is tied to the other part by a flexible cable,being folded down upon the seat, and a V-shaped support 27 being swung about a pivot 28 by the part 4, whose movement also unlocks the fastening of a foot-rest 20 and so allows of its being folded down. The lower part 4 of the handle is retained in its position of use by a spring catch engaging in a recess of an arcuate plate 16 fixed to the seat. The back 3 and sides 2 can be folded down forwardly upon the seat. Fig. 9 shows a pin-and-slot spring connection for the handle parts 4 and 6, a spigot 5 of part 6 entering the end of part 4 carrying the cable tying the parts together, a cross-pin 7<SP>1</SP> engaging the enlarged end of the cable when the parts 4 and 6 are pulled apart.
